When competitors slip off the road in formula 1 racing, they immediately get back on track. If their tyres flatten, they change it immediately and return to the race. For they recognise that time is limited and a second wasted, is an opportunity lost. Life is just like that. Everyday is a new lap and we don’t know which lap will be the last. Just like they appreciate every second, we must too. Rather, more so, as we are racing for a cause far worthier. We are in a race to earn the pleasure of Allah before we pass away. If we slip into sin, immediately we must repent and get right back on track. Use the setback as fuel to race faster, not slower. May Allah grant us the ability to use our time productively. For life is time and those who waste their time, waste their life. Aameen.
